BabyBeam — Support

BabyBeam turns two of your own iPhones or iPads into a private video baby monitor. No account, no subscription, nothing stored.

Getting started

On the phone you leave with the baby: pick Baby unit, tap Start monitoring. It shows a code (and a QR code).
On your phone: pick Parent unit, type or scan the code, tap Connect.
You now see and hear the baby. Hold the talk button to speak back.

Both devices need to be signed into iCloud. They do not need the same Apple ID.

Common questions

It won't connect.

Make sure both devices are signed into iCloud and use exactly the same pairing code. When one device is on cellular, add a free TURN relay under the gear icon → TURN relay.

The sound is quiet.

BabyBeam routes to the loud speaker automatically. Turn up the volume with the side buttons; make sure the phone isn't on silent with a low volume.

The smart cry alarm behaves oddly.

You can switch it off under Settings → Sound alerts → Smart cry detection, which falls back to a simple loudness alarm.

Is anything recorded or uploaded?

No. Video and audio go directly between your two devices, end-to-end encrypted, and nothing is stored. See the Privacy Policy.
